    “Truth is, love,” Cid began and wore a smile that left Clive somewhat uneasy. It was a smile that had countless times before spiralled into the two of them sprinting from guards or facing off against gryphons. “That’s not something I’ve ever done.”

    For a very long moment the two points refused to connect. Distracted by Cid’s hands, as he expected he would be until the day he died, Clive stared. “What?”

    “Oh, I’ve fucked plenty of men in my time,” Cid clarified as if that were ever in doubt. “But I’ve never had one fuck me.”
