Summary
His mind was elsewhere while he sat soundlessly staring off to the distance at nothing. The world around him was nothing but an inaudible buzz that was accompanied by a sharp ringing that pierced sharp and seemed to numb his senses. A body presently seated and seeming to just be deep in thought but in reality he barely felt present.
No matter how much time passed since his time in the Nihility and even after the examination from the Doctor of Chaos that the IPC had arranged for him Aventurine found himself still stricken by night terrors. It wasn't every night that he would be stricken like when he was first recovering, but when they struck him it would make sleep nigh impossible to return to his slumber. Meaning his day to follow would be one where he ran practically on autopilot and would be an empty shell of himself but he would find a way to make it work.
Today was one of those days.

As of late Sunday had come to look forward to the anticipated arrival of the IPC executive with an eagerness that more than one of the express members had made a passing comment about. Be it Mr. Yang making a remark about how Sunday’s demeanor had become a lot more relaxed and he seemed to be smiling a lot more than he had been since he boarded the express or March 7th approaching Sunday with a borderline sing-song tone with Stelle following suit–albeit Stelle was more cluelessly tagging along than actively joining in on March’s teasing–and calling him and Aventurine little lovebirds and when he’d deny it she and Stelle would comment how it was glaringly obvious they had little hearts in their eyes when talking to one another.
With Aventurine's upcoming visit to the Express Sunday intends to express the feelings he had finally come to realise were reaching their boiling point. Confessing seems easier said than done when silence fills the room and his words get caught in his throat. Why did he decide to do this now and why isn't Aventurine saying anything? It's too quiet.
