Jason was pretty sure Jasmine was a plant by Thalia; for what reason his ex-mentor had with sitting a very pretty human in front of him at his lowest he didn't know, but he didn't trust it. Jazz, however, was nearly in hell keeping this poor, half-dead human from figuring out he was being taken care of by a werewolf and her full-dead baby brother.
Danny just wanted his haunt to not be filled with lovesick sighing for five minutes.

“Who’s going to take care of you, Harry?” Tom murmured. “You went and got yourself drunk. You made yourself witless. You always put yourself in danger, but I take care of you.” Tom then helped Harry out of his trousers.
He stared at him purposefully. “You’d be a wreck without me, mother.”
Harry slowly tilted his head.
Mother?
Or: Harry Potter gets so drunk that he forgets that Tom Riddle is his son. He forgets that he travelled back in time to raise him.
He has no qualms about touching the sleeping teenager; after all, Harry is certain that he's asleep too. He's merely dreaming of touching the Slytherin.
And Tom would be remiss to waste such an invaluable opportunity.

Cloud Strife has spent his teenagehood believing himself to be a beta. Growing up in backwater Nibelheim, he doesn’t know much about biology, or whatever. So when he presents as an omega and goes into heat for the first time at the age of nineteen, his instincts kinda take over. Even if he is on a recon mission outside of Junon. Even if he is the only omega in sight. With the exception of Genesis.
Genesis Rhapsodos has spent his teenagehood and young adult life disliking the fact that he is an omega. In every way that he can, he squashes down his instincts and does what he must to be taken seriously. That all changes when he ends up imprinting on his mate’s best friend and comes to the realization that maybe his omega instincts aren’t so bad. That maybe sometimes they can even be beautiful.
Or, the one where mated omega Genesis imprints on omega Cloud and takes care of him through his first heat, much to his mates' fond surprise. Eventual ASGZC.

Summary
On the Planet of his birth, Cloud had destroyed Sephiroth years ago. The reactors are long cold, the world is saved, and he and Tifa keep their little family in remembrance of the dead.
In this new dimension, it's like the apocalypse Cloud remembers was half-averted. Mako's still around, ShinRa's in business, and Tifa supposedly died years ago under Cloud's JENOVA-fueled rampage. The other problem? Everyone's alive, looking for answers, and this dimension is a little more different than it seems.
It's hard, taking out reactors while being hunted across the continent by the people who are apparently your soulmates. It's hard, and no one understands.

Summary
Soulmates - those few people born with others' names writ across their body, tied together before they even came into existence - do not, Harry has come to find, mean love. It means that God has plans for you. And that's not a good thing.
Soulmates, for Steve, mean the people who can be what he's not. Strong when he's weak, confident when he's unsure, there to catch him when he falls.
And for Bucky - well, for him, soulmates are those people who define him, whose names can't be said without his uttered in the same breath. The people without whom there could be no Bucky Barnes.
Any philosopher or priest or reader of romance novels would tell you, on the other hand, that soulmates are people for whom the world has a purpose, people who have work to do. People whose choices will ripple through time and space, for good and, perhaps more importantly, for ill.
