Summary
Dunk, Egg, and Aerion stop at Honeyholt while they plan their next step. But while Dunk was prepared for friction between Aerion and the Beesburys, he was not prepared for the attention he himself would receive from the local omegas…nor the way Aerion would respond to it. Aerion’s feelings for Dunk are still a mystery, but one thing is clear: the dragon does not share what is his.

Summary
Prince Aerion Targaryen has always enjoyed cruelty, especially when it wears the shape of curiosity.
Ser Duncan the Tall has always endured it, steady and silent, a man built to weather far worse than a prince’s amusement.
But a closed carriage, a wandering touch, and a line crossed too many times have a way of changing things.
Even Dunk has his limits.

Summary
“A hedge knight?” Valarr continues, the title dripping with scorn. He shakes his head, a single, slow motion of pity. “Oh Aerion. A hedge knight. A common, tall oaf who probably still sleeps in his armor. You let that…that…into you? You let him knot you?”
The last word is a hiss, sharp, and personal. Valarr’s own alpha scent, usually a calm, pine-forest musk spikes with something darker—frustration, a sting of possessive jealousy, and the cold hard calculus of a political mind.

Summary
Duncan the Tall is exhausted. Between the midnight watch and long hours in the master-at-arms’ yard, he barely sleeps. What little rest he finds, he spends training Egg. All he wants now is his straw mattress and a few hours of dreamless sleep.
But in the shadows of Summerhall, sleep is not what awaits him. There, Prince Aerion Targaryen plays a different game. Their meetings become a dance of predator and prey, where the dragon prince delights in marking and being marked, and all he asks is that Dunk be brave enough to ride the dragon.

Summary
The phone vibrated for the hundredth time that night, but Duncan Pennytree resolutely ignored it. The bar’s loud music made that easy enough.
He exhaled slowly. He didn’t have to look up to know someone was watching him. The feeling had the hairs on the nape of his neck standing on end for most of the night.
He made the mistake of turning around the first time he felt it.
As if preordained, Dunk’s blue eyes instantly landed on Aerion Targaryen’s lilac. And the hand Dunk had foolishly forgotten was constantly around his throat started to squeeze.
Or,
Dunk calls it a breakup. Aerion calls it unfinished.
