丹尼尔原本安逸的退休生活，自路易一家搬到他家隔壁的那天开始就彻底结束了。
他无论如何都没有想到，自己有一天会爱上一个已经成家并怀有身孕的人。当然，那人并不是路易，而是阿尔芒。
阿尔芒，这个与路易维持了7年婚姻的人，也是那个将丹尼尔的人生搞得一团糟的人。
如果丹尼尔有机会将时间倒流，重新做出选择的话，他希望自己那天中午可以不要返回路易家，去拿自己遗落的手机；或者希望自己推掉那天的午饭；他甚至希望从一开始，自己就不曾向路易推荐隔壁待售的房子；或者干脆，他希望自己从未踏足旧金山这片土地。
一切的一切，如果能使他从注定遇见阿尔芒的命运之中脱离，他会感激不尽。
但很可惜，上面说到的那些都已成现实，而至于丹尼尔本人也必须只能接受这种现实，承受随之而来的后果，并长久地生活下去。

我从喜欢DM的第一天开始脑子里就有这个想法了（实际上之前写过一点点），就是我会幻想阿尔芒从在旧金山的采访之后，每隔几年就会忍不住回来找丹尼尔，每次都有不同的开场，换不同的人设，让他可以短暂地换一种生活，也算是满足他的戏瘾((。
但基本每次到后面都会被丹尼尔察觉出其中的猫腻，之后两人吵架，崩溃，失控，阿尔芒抹掉人类的记忆，回到路易身边。
总之就是基于这样一个雷人背景下的故事，我是文盲，内容会很OOC。【我对文章部分内容进行了一些修改 所以如果有人发现一些地方与你的记忆有出入 提醒一下 你并不是失忆了！】
