Summary
Minho still hasn’t said a word or touched Seungmin but it’s like they’ve been reading the same book and are finally on the same page. Minho takes a careful step towards Seungmin. He slowly but purposely places his hands on the countertop next to Seungmin’s hands effectively encasing Seungmin in with his body against the counter. They are still not touching, their bodies only a few centimeters apart. The space between their bodies shimmers with heat and promise. It’s a line between them that they’ve never crossed before and they know that once they cross it, there is no going back.

Summary
Seungmin's been awake for at least 2 or 3 hours already, he’s not sure, he hasn’t moved. He doesn’t have a schedule today and it was perfect timing because when he woke, he just knew it was one of those days. A bad day? A sad day? A numb day? A rot day? Whatever. Seungmin just knows there are days he just can’t do anything, can’t feel anything and there is no warning.

“I didn’t want to slow anyone down.”
“You collapsing in the middle of choreography would slow us down more than you resting for a day,” Chan said, sharper than he intended. He saw Seungmin flinch slightly and sighed. “Sorry. I’m not mad. I just—when you’re hurting and hiding it, I worry.”
Seungmin looked up, and for the first time that day, his eyes weren’t laced with humor or sarcasm. Just exhaustion.
“I didn’t want to disappoint you, hyung.”
That hit Chan square in the heart.

“Seungminnie, aren’t you playing?” Hyunjin called over his shoulder, flushed from laughter.
Seungmin shook his head quickly. His voice felt raw, and he didn’t want to give himself away.
But it didn’t matter—because a second later, a shadow fell over him. Minho.
“You look like death,” Minho said plainly, arms crossed.
Seungmin scowled up at him, tugging his hood tighter. “Thanks, hyung. Love the compliment.”

Now, Jisung may seem a little helpless at times, but he wasn't totally useless. He could take care of sick people just fine and as far as taking care of sick members, he lucked out. Seungmin is generally compliant when he's sick, too tired to keep up his usual need for independence and too out of it to spit out his normal teasing.

Because Seungmin, even the diligent guy, did not get sick often. He'd come close, running low-grade temperatures not quite high enough to call a fever or having to take a day off from singing cause his throat was sore. He almost always bounced back within a day or two because his body was generally good at fighting things off.
However, every now and then, when he did get sick… he got very, very sick.
or: a Seungsung sick fic because we don't have enough of Seungmin and Jisung being there for each other.
