The best Stucky, if not the best, fic I have ever read. Alas the author orphaned her accounts coz all her works are above average for the least. I have cried as many times reading this as I have reread it. I only wish the ending with the time stop is a little different, quiet jarring for a fic so grounded on the cap level of superpower shenanegans. Do I prefer James or Bucky? It's a hard choice but by my current mentality I incline toward James for the maximum pain output. It brings up a very good question I often as myself, are you still the man before your memory erasure if the memory don't feel like they are yours. My current answer is no, for the same reason I despite reincarnation fics treating the individual as the same person as in their previous life.
