“It’s not just a Nanami that looks like a baby, he actually is one. He doesn’t have any memories that aren’t from this time in his life. We figured it was best to put him in with the first years so he can attend missions with you all. We aren’t sure how long this will last but we can’t bench one of our best sorcerers just because he got tiny.”
At that, the other teen’s head whips to stare at him. “Oh, so you don’t know me?” Kento thinks it’s safe to shake his head.
Nanami ends up de-aging to his teenage self for two weeks and gets a pink-haired shadow during that time. That’s not going to be a problem, is it?

And then there are people like you… who bring your own chair and sit down.
Him? Nanami Kento? Someone’s “baby?” Absurdity. But here, suspended in this twilight space, wrapped up in the scent of ylang ylang and warm light, Kento guessed anything could happen. Even letting himself become someone’s “baby.”
Yuuji.
Sunshine smile. Sunrise hair. Warm brown eyes with deep-as-the-sea dimples under them. Pert nose and square jaw. The picture of health, vitality and youth. Nanami felt a small smile tug at his downturned mouth. Yuji should have made him feel old, but instead he made Kento feel young again.
Nanami works hard and deserves to be spoiled.
