    Kuseno has given Genos some upgrades, and he's not too sure he's happy about it.

     

    It had not been easy to ignore as it was, all the thoughts that itched around in Genos's mind. An infinite number of scenarios generated by a brain with an unending capacity to process them. None of which would ever, ever happen. Now he could feel a stirring sensation in the hoses and metal of his guts, most definitely a construct of his brain implant and not the result of any of his core systems malfunctioning. A tightening in his chest, pain where he'd never felt it before.

     


    Could you program heartache into a system of wires and tubes? Was there code to be entered for a longing so strong he could feel it where his bones should be?
