When Steve transferred from Pratt to Brooklyn College he didn't expect himself to be invited to a frat house. He was small, and sick, and weak. But the moment Feta Cheese Frat House President Tony Stark set eyes on him he all but begged for him to join.
And now Steve was going through hazing. Hazing in the form of James Buchanan Barnes. Tall, dark, brooding, a strangly perfect way of testing new students resilience and courage. Lucky for him, Bucky immediately takes a liking to him, and the hazing quickly turns to testing Buckys ability to keep his fast growing affection under wraps.

Bucky is on his knees, head bowed low enough to touch his sternum. His right hand is clenched in a tight fist as if he’s trying to hide how badly it’s shaking.
For a long, horrible beat of silence, Steve stares down at him blankly, for a moment unable to process, unable to wrap his head around what Bucky thinks Steve wants from him.
