Summary
It didn't take Robby (or really, any of the doctors in the ED) long to figure out Langdon's diagnosis, even though he'd never said anything about it. It was pretty obvious, to be honest, and he didn't really care if they knew. Their reactions, however, he was more worried about.

Summary
Before Frank left Rehab he was told to find a hobby, something completely separated from his work, a clean slate. Instead of finding a new one, he picked an old hobby. A really old hobby that he hasn’t done since high school.
He didn’t really plan on telling anyone at work. It turns out it was a lot harder to hide than he thought.
~*~*~*~
Five times someone noticed Frank’s new hobby, and the one person who he was excited to share it with.

Summary
2023, 2nd year resident Frank Langdon gets a call from his mother wanting to wish him a happy birthday. A slightly confused Dana Evans passes the call on to Frank, even though she's fairly certain today is not his birthday. Getting a weird vibe, and trusting her gut, she sticks around to 'oversee' the conversation, just in case the kid needs her. It turns out: he does.

Summary
“I’m looking forward to learning a lot from you, Doctor Abbot.” Langdon chirps from where he’s standing. Robby huffs out an amused sound before he covers it with a cough as Jack shoots him a glare.
“Right.” He says coolly and feels the day shift doctors, Ellis and John join their little group, ready for handover. “Know how handover works?”
Langdon nods.
“Cool, then you can follow along.” Jack isn’t interested in teaching, even if they are a teaching hospital. Someone else can do the teaching. All Jack can do is scare off the kid enough that he follows someone else.

Summary
She heard Frank’s sharp intake of breath. When he next spoke, she could hear the frown in his voice.
“Robby, I’m- please, I’m sorry, man.”
She didn't know what exactly Frank was begging for. She just knew she didn't like it when he sounded like this.
“Then do better.”
For a second, Heather thought she may have misheard. Robby wouldn’t- Robby would never speak to anyone like that. But then again, Frank was never just ‘anyone’ to him.
