The ship swayed with the weight of them and their companions, each focused on a different member of the crew, because sure, it was only gold they wanted, but gods knew the Riptide pirates did not let themselves get fucked over that easy.
So, battle it was. And they were fucking losing.
“Gryffon,” Gillion called out from across the deck, sounding equally as winded. “It is your fucking destiny to get these guys off the ship, do you hear me? That is an order.”
Gryffon gave no indication that he’d heard him. He didn’t have the breath to.
