“Listen,” Atsumu adjusts himself once more so he’s relaxed along the chair rather than sitting on the cushion properly—legs again propped onto the armrest, “I’m gonna be yer catcher nine times outta ten and I love this game. We can both at least agree that a workin’ relationship would be beneficial for the both of us.”

“Being considerate of my preferences on the court is different than ‘taking care of me’ during my heat,” Sakusa says. “You don’t know how to be a boyfriend. Not that I’d want you to be.”
"Ditto. You’re gross. But I’d still fuck ya, and it would be good. Maybe I don’t know how to be a boyfriend, but I know how to handle an omega in heat. Ain’t ever gotten any complaints, Omi.”
“Maybe not to your face.”
Atsumu is about to counter that, but he catches the shift in Sakusa’s expression — minuscule, but Atsumu knows him enough to be able to tell that he’s actually thinking about this. He thinks about it for a good twenty seconds before his tiny frown fades into a look of resignation. “I could try something different.”
