The nurse looked to him, then over to the woman with brown hair and worried eyes.
“What’s her name?”
Evan looked over to the woman, noting that she was beautiful, something about his inner child stirring.
“I um—I don’t know.”
Taking notes, the nurse then turned his attention to the fluffy haired man. The guy had deep brown eyes like chocolate, hints of green scattered within them; Evan couldn’t look away from them. Something about the man tugged at his heartstrings, though he couldn’t decipher why.
“I uh—I don’t know who any of you are, to be honest.”

Buck gets amnesia just before Valentine's day, forgetting who everyone is. It's only temporary, but everyday feels like an eternity to Eddie, who had just gotten Buck for real. Buck doesn't even know who he is now.

After the lawsuit, it takes time, but things are finally returning to normal. Everyone was treating Buck the way they used to, and he was staying out of trouble. He even took up crochet! When he's invited to a night out with his friends, his bad luck streak from the Year of Hell isn't done with him yet. Fight or Flight, it's his choice.
"A part of Buck felt a sting at being the last one asked, but an even bigger, still worried part of him was just glad to be included. He glanced at his best friend who was already looking at him and tried to smile convincingly, but he wasn’t sure it worked."
