Summary
Anakin Skywalker, aka "The Chosen One", a Jedi Knight too proud to take on any kind of liability (especially a padawan), finds himself crash-landed on Melida/Daan - a planet plagued so much by war it was deemed irredeemable by the Jedi council.
There, he encounters a young padawan learner who was apparently abandoned by his master, struggling to lead a bunch of children to stop the war.
Now of course Anakin would help them with all he had, but he definitely wasn't taking that kid as his padawan.
Definitely not.
Or
How Anakin Skywalker adopts a planet of kids, returns to the Jedi Temple and attempts to somehow mentor a teenager with self esteem issues while praying to the Force that he won't kriff things up more than they already are.

"MSF FNG," Jack shot back. Whatever that meant, he sounded amused.
Darnell scoffed and looked to Robby, expression going decidedly unimpressed. "Oh, yeah? You here to find yourself? Have an adventure? Do something hard?" he asked, each question more mocking than the last.
And there was that question again, like it was haunting Robby. He stifled his instinct to bite back and kept it simple: "I'm here to help."
