He had dozed off, only to wake to the gentle and steady voice of a stranger, someone who felt familiar, and knew how to calm his racing heart with ease. In the late hours, he offered a place to stay. Slowly, even the dark night no longer scared Jisung. Everything else unfolded naturally, deeply.
