Summary
The twins had met the same man about three times. The man had seemed to get more depressed and desperate each time, with their third encounter ending with him running away from the gate, shouting about how he's going to be next. At that point, Stelle had actually considered climbing the fence.
"But we were already late in getting back to the hotel," Caelus recounts, "so we just thought we'd stop by again the next day."
The next day, the man had been there once more.
His smile was as stiff as a board.
