“So,” says Levi. “You’ve achieved your dreams. You’ve seen the ocean. Now what?”
“I don’t know,” Eren says. “I’m still deciding. What about you, Captain Levi? Once you’re done killing all the titans, what will you do?”
“Who says that was my dream? Maybe when I’m done with all the other titans and bored out of my mind, I’ll just kill you.” Eren knows he’s joking, so he isn’t afraid. Behind him, Mikasa splashes pointedly and glares at Levi. He rolls his eyes. “But I suppose your bodyguard wouldn’t let me. I’ll settle for your piece of shit half-brother instead.”
Eren understands, in some way. But it seems wrong for that to be his dream, too. Eren, loathe as he is to admit it, is prone to hopelessness. In his vision for the future, he wants something hopeful. Something worth waking up for.
“I think… I want to make it so that everyone within the walls is safe. I want to bring everyone here. Queen Historia, and the Garrison soldiers. I want to make it so that whoever wants to, whenever they want to, they can see the ocean too.”

Summary
The wound on Alastor’s chest becomes badly infected and he’s unable to manage the pain even with drugs and alcohol. It gets to the point of him passing out in one of the hotel’s public spaces, unable to recover before he’s discovered by Charlie. Charlie drags Lucifer to Alastor’s side and tearfully begs Lucifer to save him. She’s having flashbacks to Pentious’s death and is terrified Lucifer might refuse out of spite towards Alastor and she just can’t lose another friend, she can’t!
Lucifer was never going to refuse, but the desperation and fear in his little girl’s voice breaks his heart all the same. Sure, he has his problems with the guy, but he wasn’t going to just leave Alastor for double dead. Who would he argue with over his morning coffee then? He overcompensates, just a tad, using his magic to not only mend the flesh but purge all foreign elements from the Sinner’s body…
Leaving behind a stranger with Alastor’s face and voice, but none of his demonic traits or abilities. Or memories.

Summary
They’d been out here all afternoon. Truth be told, Carl has absolutely no idea how he ended up in this situation. Negan had seen the dart board in his room, realized just how off his shot was since he’d lost his eye.
Negan asked him what Rick was doing to help with his aim, and Carl had just looked at him like he had two heads. That was the only answer the man needed, and he’d given him a radio that same day.
And somewhere along the way- Carls not sure when, exactly- things had changed between them. Because inexplicably Negan suddenly trusts him with a gun around him. He seems to know Carl isn’t going to try and kill him.
Or, shit, maybe he just thinks Carl is really that bad of a shot.
