Ness has an aversion to touch, or is at the very least so touch starved that he actually feels uncomfortable towards it. That’s why he always wears gloves during matches and puts his hands behind his back, to keep himself from reaching out to others.
Oddly enough, the only way Kaiser can properly express his feelings is through physical touch, despite also hating being touched.
But when it comes to Ness, it’s a different story.

Summary
Shidou gets a trashy radio, one that leads him to probably the best thing in his life! Or in normal terms, he was led to the knowledge of Sae, a young renowned prodigy living in Spain after his departure from Japan.
Wanting to learn more about the other from a radio event, Shidou grabs his dingy stationary and starts writing, not actually expecting a personal reply from the one and only Itoshi Sae himself.
Now the two write out their feelings, communicating and trying to solve their feelings across the sea.

one of the side quests ego made Rin Itoshi do during his days off included talking to a therapist about his personal issues. He eventually came to the conclusion that starting off by making a friend (or at least not hating someone) would be the initial step into normality, but the question is..."who the hell would be insane enough to befriend Rin Itoshi???"... well thats where a certain depressed, currently friendless, lonely, sad, ugly, purple-haired idiot comes in.
