One second, Rozanov is in front of him, gliding away with the puck to the Voyageurs’ goal.
The next, Ilya is on the floor with an enforcer looming over him. And he isn’t getting up. For a moment, Shane doesn’t move. He can’t.
Then, he is surging forward with all of his might to reach the Boston team captain. He nearly reaches him, too, before he registers a sharp pain in his side and the world goes blank.Shane and Ilya both get hit while playing a game against each other. Cue some hospital shenanigans and Shane's parents finding out about their relationship. (And maybe Hayden and JJ too)
