Summary
Missing scenes from Episode 6, equal parts character study and kink fic.
Armand is unraveling at the seams. Maybe he should let it happen, drop to his knees right here in the hallway and beg Fareed to tear out the rest of the thread and put him back together right this time.
But he wants Louis to do it.
He wants Louis.
He wants Louis with an intensity that is frightening and childish. Armand needs to matter. He deserves to matter. More than time-softened memories of Lestat.

Summary
Sometimes Louis thought his former companion had only ever been a lump of clay, amorphous, interchangeable, just filling a void. That Louis just missed the feeling of a body in bed next to him, the knowledge that there was someone he could rely on to handle things when he was tired. That it could have been anyone.
But in other moments, he was forced to admit that he missed Armand.

Summary
In an online medical forum, Armand once read that it takes seven to ten years for every cell in a person's body to regenerate, shedding its past. Being a vampire, encased in resin and the state which he died in, he is unsure if the same logic can be applied to him, but when it comes to blood, taken and given and taken and given as is of their nature, a similar logic can probably be applied, he believes. Of course, Armand has never tested this hypothesis, running tests over many years or even confiding this belief to his companion, but he believes that the blood running through his veins can not remotely be the same blood that was once his maker's. So why should his thoughts, on this matter of art, ever be his and only his, unchanged by this new man that he loves?
Or, Armand and Louis debate what constitutes art.
