As Minghao reluctantly sits back up and scrubs a hand over his face, he randomly receives a rapid series of kisses on his cheek because he’s “being cute”. He splutters under the sudden affection, pressing his eyes closed so the quick fingers on his face don’t accidentally poke them out. “My”—”Sweet”—”Lovely”—”Cutie”—”Minghao”, Junhui says between pecks, then carefully tilts Minghao’s head so he can press a firm kiss to his mouth before completely letting go.
i really really loved this fic and i really wanted to add something from the story here and the scene above just kinda summarizes the loveliness of Junhao in this fic. my pretty babiesෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ

this thing hurt like hell. i cried to the point where i had no tears left. it hurt like someone ripped my heart out with their bare hands. but this is something that i would definitely never forget and maybe one day reread too. i remember this fic every time i read Junhao having their happy ending in some other AU or fic. i like to think that maybe they lost each other in this one so that they could've happy endings in all other AUs or fics. junnie and hao, my loves, i hope that you both know that you got a happy ending together in another universe.
as someone said, " in every universe, it was you. in this one, it's just the memory of you." until not even the memories remained, for the one to keep them joined the one they were about.

but gosh do i love a "friends to lovers with a lot of yearning" solboo or do i love it?
“I’m in love with you too,” he says, quietly, plainly, confidently. “I didn’t say it then because I didn’t know it then. But maybe that’s because…how do you know something that’s like breathing? But I do. I love you.”
“Okay. Well. Keep breathing,” Seungkwan instructs. “Please.”
What he means is please keep loving me.
“Cute. You don’t have to say please,” Hansol responds, and brings him close for another long, tight hug.
What he means is, loving you is inevitable.
this scene, the dialogues, literally everything is pure perfection. solboo i need notes on how to get someone to love you this much.

“What.” Mingyu manages as the room breaks into uproar. He instantly regrets his own inability to shut the fuck up, especially around Minghao and especially when talking about Wonwoo’s mouth.

And Wonwoo’s sitting here, in this beautiful park with the fountain opposite them and winter opening up the skies, worrying his lip between his teeth and Mingyu knows him so well it’s like Wonwoo’s one side of his soul, but in this moment he truly has no idea what the older’s thinking.
But what Mingyu does know, he knows that it’s true, he really does love Wonwoo.
“I guess I do.” Mingyu mumbles, and it’s like the universe falls off his shoulders, like Atlas himself pats him on the back and says, ‘that’s enough’.
Mingyu just beams back at him because it honestly feels like he’s just won gold at every single Olympic sport.
“You’re so cute when you do that.” Wonwoo smiles, and Mingyu tilts his head in confusion. “You know, tilt your head when you smile like you’re a labrador retriever, it’s on my ‘adorable things Mingyu does’ list.”
Mingyu gapes at him, and Wonwoo must mistake it for shock. “Sorry I just- kinda note down all the cute stuff you do in a mental checklist, a little weird I know.”
Wonwoo bites his lip to stop himself from word-vomiting and Mingyu laughs. He reaches up to release Wonwoo's lip with his thumb, and beams at him.
“You bite your lips, item number 56 on the ‘cute shit Wonwoo does’ list.”
