Summary
set 3+ years after the movie. Akane is preparing for the first step in Sibyl’s plan to restructure the social system and eventually reveal the truth of its existence and is posing as an enforcer for protection from an external threat. The Sibyl System has come to consider Akane’s humanistic viewpoints to be valid to some degree and continues to study her. She is of particular interest as her position as an enforcer with a low crime coefficient provides useful data. She decides to return to her position as an Inspector in order to draw out this threat, due to information passed to her by Kogami. This information suggests that an external enemy intends to move against Sibyl.

The laptop sat on the dinette table, lid up, screen angled away from the windows. I tapped the spacebar and the display woke: a dashboard, clean and minimal, four video feeds arranged in a grid. The upper left showed the exterior — the same parking lot I’d just walked through, captured by a pinhole camera hidden in the side mirror. The upper right showed the cab, empty. Summary
Inara, at twenty-one years old, has resigned herself to a life of mediocrity. A low-paying job, shitty family, and nonexistent love life leave her desperate for an out. When the system notification comes, the choice seems obvious; she has to try. Besides, the idea of sex magic, especially if she gets to be the submissive, is not an unappealing one. She only wishes to have had more time to figure out what being a draft animal actually means.
The LitRPG elements in this story are minimal. There is no grand adventure or combat, just a young woman finding her place in the world. That place, of course, happens to be a stable.
