"-the last three parties you dragged me to?" It’s a nice voice, masculine, soft but with just enough gravel in it to make Sirius perk up in curiosity. There’s a heavy pause, and then the same voice continues, exasperated. "You ditched me to hit on fucking Gilderoy Lockhart, who is not only the straightest man I have ever met, but also the most insufferable."
Two men come into view, stepping through the doorway and into the library. They don't immediately register that the room is already occupied, fully immersed in whatever argument they're having.
One of them is maybe the most beautiful person that Sirius has ever seen in his life. He has a mess of honey curls, big brown eyes, and a scowl that twists his mouth into something Sirius would like to bite. He suspects that he'd like to bite the man's mouth whatever shape it's in, but that's besides the point.
