Summary
“You cut your hair?”
“I did.” She runs a hand through it, tousling the short layers.
“This morning?”
“Literally just before. I told you I had an appointment.”
“Yeah, but I didn’t think…” she trails off, standing up slowly. She puts her glasses on the side table before her hands go to Trinity’s shoulders and start playing with the strands at the base of her neck. “Fuck. You look so hot.”

Summary
Yolanda broke the kiss and kept her fingers in Trinity's hair. "Hi."
Trinity's mouth stayed close to hers. "Hi."
"I hate that you were right to hide the haircut."
"You love when I'm right."
"I tolerate it when you're pretty."
Trinity slipped a hand around Yolanda's waist. "So all the time."
Parker turned to Dennis. "Are they always like this?"
Dennis took a sip from his water bottle. "Sometimes they're louder."
Or
Trinity’s new haircut, Yolanda’s total meltdown, and a Pride day full of happy queer chaos.

Summary
“For what it’s worth, whoever stood you up really missed out,” Vi hummed softly. “If I were a guy, I wouldn’t let a woman like you slip through my fingers.”
The British woman shot her an amused grin.
“I never stated I was stood up by a man,” she purred softly.
“Ah.” Vi muttered.
She tried to think of a clever response, only to come up with.
“Damn. Right. Yeah. Being stood up by a woman is definitely worse," in the end.
“Why thank you for confirming my reason for hiding in an alleyway full of litter,” the pretty woman deadpanned. “Silly me, for thinking American women would be more romantic than the English ones that have a habit of letting me down..."
Vi chuckled. “Then you’ve clearly never been on a date with me.”

Summary
As Vi rubs a dry towel too harshly over her face, she mumbles into it the same thing she said before. “I didn’t know I could do that.”
Cait’s chest is warm again for a new reason, and then all of her is warm. Vi is still gripping the towel, so Cait tries to counteract her tension with a soft kiss to her forehead. “You can do it again,” she whispers against Vi’s skin. “If you’d like to.” Vi’s breathing catches, and Cait thinks she feels a slight nod. Maybe.

She sometimes sits and wonders if it was worth it. Leaving the love of her life just because of quiet evenings and distant looks.
Or
13 months after calling off their 4 year long relationship, Rumi sees Mira again for their best friend’s bachelorette party. Will they be reminded of why they broke up, or will it show them just how much they lost?
