“Mm, I beg to differ.” Louis’s eyes flick over the bunched-up mesh material of Lestat’s top in his hand, clenching it in a tight grip. After a beat, he draws the fabric up to his face and takes a deep inhale, eyes sliding closed as he absorbs him into his lungs, and Lestat’s cunt pulses.
“Do you like that, Louis?” Lestat asks, allowing his voice to go darker, lower.
“If you’re asking if I like you,” Louis offers in lieu of a real reply, “you don’t have to ask.”
His hands slide up Lestat’s bare chest to frame his face, drawing him into a kiss, effectively silencing him for the moment.
or: louis waits for lestat backstage after a show. together, they smoke, bicker, fuck, drink each other's blood, and ride his adrenaline high until they crash.

Even if Lestat's heats didn't arrive like clockwork, Louis would always know they're coming, because there's one thing that gives them away: underwear. Or, rather, the lack thereof.
On an otherwise unremarkable evening, Louis opens his underwear drawer to discover that it has been completely ransacked, and there is not one single pair of underwear to be found. Even his socks are gone, which is unusual. Clearly, this heat is going to be a doozy.
