Emily Charlton, despite her best efforts, loves Andrea Sachs.
She loves her writing, the calm elegance and intelligence she carries effortlessly. She loves the way her hair looks when she first wakes up; how it sticks straight up on one side from laying against Emily's chest while asleep. She loves how supportive she is of Emily, always there with a coffee or a gift or something to eat, all the things she knows Emily would never get for herself.
Right now, though, she hates Andrea.

Summary
Arasha turns to face him, only to find he’s already looking at her, gaze soft, heated. She watches as his eyes dip, almost involuntarily, to where the slit in her dress has ridden up to the top of her thigh. Grins as his eyes flick back up to meet hers, only a little embarrassment painting his face.
“You can look,” she says softly, the words falling between them like a snowflake, like a landmine.
Trevor swallows hard, a self-deprecating smile gracing his face. “Can I?”
There’s a million questions in those two words. Can he? Could they? With what they are to each other? With where they are? Arasha respects the hell out of him for asking them, but as she sits up, dress strap falling, all she can think about is the way he looked at her. Like she was the only person worth looking at. “You can.”

She still can’t really believe it, but the evidence is currently flopped on her couch beside her, occasionally sipping from a beer (that he obviously doesn’t like according to the way he grimaces after each sip, what is wrong with him?) and rolling out his shoulders.
