“Fine,” Allison sighed, shifting around in her purse and grabbing out her sunglasses, “I guess our deal was just that I got to dress you for banquets, not that you had to come with while shopping. Say goodbye to your veto power though, you’ll just have to be okay with what I get you.”
Neil swallowed, obviously biting back a response. Andrew knew Neil wouldn’t say anything. They had made a deal, Neil wasn’t allowed to argue because of his own mistake. A part of Andrew wanted to just let it happen. It was Neil’s own fault. The other part of him felt the need to stand guard. He could rationalize it by thinking that he didn’t want Allison getting Neil something he hated, but honestly, Andrew didn’t really care. By nature of the event, she had to put Neil in something formal, so the odds of her getting something too revealing were next to none. If Allison made Neil muscle though a night of wearing a bold statement piece that wouldn’t be in fashion until next year, Andrew didn’t give a fuck.
The real issue was that Andrew didn’t like people messing with his things.
