Aaron looks at the lawyer and then starts to laugh. He laughs so hard he's sure it's bouncing off the walls and ricocheting back into his chest just to be laughed out again. Suddenly he stops. “Who'd she leave everything to?”
“I'm afraid I cannot say.”
Aaron snatches the paper and reads it. “Who the hell is Andrew Minyard?”
(Or: When his mother dies and leaves everything to Andrew Minyard, Aaron is left with one problem: he has no idea who Andrew Minyard is.)

It didn’t click to him how long he’d stood there.
With one steadying breath, Andrew spoke.
“No.”
“Suit yourself." There was a pause. Smurf was certainly making a face, but Andrew couldn't bring himself to look at her—blurry form shifting in his peripherals. "Just know I’m not taking you back when you can’t handle it, Andrew.” She said with an air of dismissiveness.
Like nothing, Julia and Andrew were left standing beneath that bridge.
