Derek looks at him like he’s a complete idiot.
“You’re a complete idiot,” Derek growls.
Good to know Stiles is still well versed in deciphering Derek’s facial expressions.
“Don’t talk to me like that. You don’t get to just act like Mr Alpha badass whenever it suits you, controlling me like I’m sixteen again. I can do what I like, see who I like, fuck whoever...” and Stiles doesn’t get to finish that sentence because he’s being shoved back into the door.
His head bangs softly against it and Derek is far too close to him. Stiles can feel his breath on his face.
Stiles licks his lips nervously and the way Derek’s eyes follow the movement makes him feel exposed. Stiles shudders.
He pokes Derek in the chest.
“Bad wolf. Der, I need... I need some space to get... to get over... just to find where I fit, now I’m back here for good,” Stiles says.
“I know where you goddamn fit,” Derek growls.

The hairs on the back of Stiles’ neck tingle, and he swallows hard against the unmistakable sensation of someone staring at him. He’s tempted to just ignore it, but after a few seconds, his curiosity wins out and he looks up from his phone instead. He doesn’t notice anything right away, flicking his gaze along the people on the other side of the intersection until he suddenly stops and backtracks. It’s a little hard to see, what with the thick drizzle and the cars whizzing between them, but he would recognize that glorious bearded face anywhere, even after six years. Holy shit.

“Cora,” Derek chides, his voice smoothed with fondness.
“I just want to know if he has a pretty crown!”
Stiles crouches down. “I bet it’s not as pretty as yours, Your Highness,” he says, taking her hand and kissing it.
Cora flushes with pride and beams. She tugs on her brother's hand, looking up at him as she extends her other to point at Stiles, finger an inch away from his face. “I want you to marry him."
