“What a gentleman,” Satoru says, eyeing Suguru’s fingers lingering on her dress strap. “Here I was hoping you would help me take it off.”
“Not in the club,” Suguru says like a promise. Satoru deliberately moves so that her strap falls off her shoulder again. Suguru laughs, easy, and fixes it for her again. She looks at Satoru like she’s sizing her up. Satoru bites her tongue. “Please tell me you’re going to let me take you home and fuck you, Satoru,” Suguru says in a low voice. Satoru’s name rolls off her tongue so pretty, half a purr. “Dress on or off, I really don’t care.”
“Well, that depends,” Satoru answers, trying to keep her composure. She plucks her cherry out of her drink and rests it against her lower lip, rolls it onto her tongue. Watches Suguru watch her.
“Depends?” Suguru asks, hand sliding back to the small of Satoru’s back pulling her closer. Her fingers are almost possessive, the tips of them digging in, right at the top of Satoru’s ass. Satoru likes it. She likes it a lot.
“Yeah, depends how many times you’re gonna make me come,” Satoru says, as casually as she can. She feels like a livewire.

Satoru meets his gaze, doing his best to appear normal and not like a man currently reeling from a very public handjob in the cold, dingy alley behind a shitty little hole-in-the-wall bar.
From his ex boyfriend, the one he hasn’t so much as seen or said hello to, or been able to stalk on the internet even, in ten fucking months. He’s normal about this, because this is a normal situation.
“Don’t overthink it,” Suguru tells him, a knowing smirk playing on his lips.
Satoru scoffs. As if. He may be a little unbalanced by the recent events, but he is absolutely not overthinking.
"I'm not ‘overthinking.’” He says, making air quotes. “And don't tell me what to do."
"No?" Suguru asks, incredulous, tipping his chin toward his chest.
"No," Satoru huffs.
"You literally just reminded me how much you like it when I do." Suguru quips, gesturing behind them.

This is not unusual.
What is unusual is the location—the corridor outside OR three is not, technically, a designated space for interdepartmental disputes. There is a process for that. There is a form. The form is a single page, double-sided, and it asks the parties to describe the nature of the conflict in neutral language and to identify three potential resolutions.
Dr. Geto and Dr. Gojo have never filled out this form.
The administrator who handles this form stopped expecting them to at around the four-month mark, approximately six years ago.
