Summary
After meeting with the Princess of the newest era they've landed in, the Chain of Heroes 5 Links strong are sent to go retrieve the rather violent merperson that was in Lake Hylia and bring them back alive to the castle before they can get any information about where they could find the Hero of this era.
After a run in with a group of poachers not long after getting the merperson causes things to go slightly off course, they chain end up getting a bit of a surprise when they learn the true reason why the Princess wanted the merperson taken back to the castle.

Summary
Legend definitely doesn't have a soft spot for Wild. Despite what Warriors says, he treats the younger hero exactly the same as the rest of the Chain. He certainly would never aid the other in sneaking away. That would be absurd.
(Legend just wants Wild to be able to enjoy their adventure and have opportunities to make new, happier memories)

“So how old are all of you anyways?” He said it casually, not thinking it was a very deep question. But with how some of the members of the group responded it was probably a bit more complicated question than he wanted to think about.
Wild stiffened uncomfortably, Hyrule looked a little confused, Wind puffed out his chest like he was preparing for an insult, Four looked tired, and Time squinted his eye like he was calculating something.
The only people to not visibly act weird were Sky, Twilight, and Legend.
Or
Everyone assumes Legend is the most experienced and mature Link in the Chain, they are only partially correct.
