Everyone turned to stare at her.
“What?” she retorted sternly. “Why not introduce him directly to a human being, so he can see how special humanity is?”
Pip, who had dozed off against a wall with his pint still in hand, woke up with a start, while Druig tried to make sense of Thena’s words. “Not a bad idea, but who? Personally, I don’t know any human being worthy enough to represent his entire bloody species.”
Angel. Eros thought.
“Louis!” Pip shouted.
Or Eros/Harry is a dreamboat with singular powers who loves love more than anything and longs to feel it one day, and Louis is the kind human who shows him the way.

"What are you doing here, Harry?" Louis asked with confidence, his gaze briefly flickering to Harry's plump lips, a momentary hint of desire flickering in his eyes.
"I…" Harry's voice caught in his throat as Louis' gaze travelled downward, coming to rest on his chest. Without hesitation, Louis raised his hands from the desk, bringing them to Harry's chest, helping him button the one he had missed. When he attempted to pull away, Harry's hand shot out and gripped at his wrist.
"You're shaking," Louis observed, his eyes shifting to their joined hands before returning to meet Harry's gaze, unwavering.
"It's…" Harry cleared his throat. "It's you. You make me… I don't know what is happening to me."
"What do you feel?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.
"It's… warm," he began, shyly bringing Louis' hand against the centre of his chest over his shirt. "Here." His hand slid down to his stomach, their eyes locked in a powerful gaze. "And here." They remained silent for a moment, both captivated by the intensity of their connection. "Every time you're near me."

It was bright; that was the first thing Louis could recall. With a groan, he winced at the throbbing behind the sockets of his eyes and rubbed his temples in an effort to soothe the pain. Maybe he really did hit his head when he took his tumble. The omega squinted as he looked at the surrounding rolling hills and fog hanging over the countryside. As strange as it was, the world felt different, though it looked practically the same.
Disoriented and confused, Louis padded through the moss and listened for his husband. “Liam?” he croaked shakily.
Nothing but a symphony of woodland creatures met his ears. His footsteps were muted by mossy green grass beneath his feet and soil fragrant as he neared the crest of the hill. At the top, he froze, lips parted in horror and eyes widening at the expanse of empty farmland—not a soul in sight. It had only been less than ten minutes prior that he could see Inverness from the crest, but now there was nothing.“Impossible,” he whispered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief—his mind not quite able to make sense of it.
