Summary
Peter Parker goes on a field trip with his class to Stark Tower. It's a common trope, you've heard it before and you'll hear it again. Usually, in an epic climax, peter calls tony stark "dad," accidentally revealing to his class (and his father figure) how close he really is with the billionaire. In my fic, something slightly different happens.

Mr Harrington let the drum roll go on, laughing until the teenagers started to yell again, “Okay! Okay! Boys and girls, girls and boys… we have been invited on an exclusive tour of the one, the only, STARK INDUSTRIES!”
Peter wasn’t sure if he was going to faint, throw up, or cease existing entirely.
He knew he was hoping for the latter.

Peter hasn't spoken to Tony in two months - not since their argument. It had been stupid really, and looking back Peter wasn't sure if he could even pinpoint what started it, but he hadn't been back to the Tower since. He had been too ashamed of his behaviour to face Tony, and had no intentions to return. But then, his class field trip is announced - to Stark Industries.
Peter is determined to keep his head down, swallow his hurt at the genius' rejection, and get through this trip as smoothly and painlessly as possible.
Tony isn't interested in seeing him anyway.
