Summary
Arthur locates a takeaway espresso cup on the shelf above the sink, and starts pouring coffee into it. It's large enough to hold two shots, so he hopes that if he fills it right up to the brim, it will hold three. Maybe. Just as Arthur is debating the likelihood of him spilling it in the journey from the coffee machine to the counter, he wonders exactly who is the recipient of this death wish of a drink. Quickly, as if not to be caught in the act, he glances over his shoulder to the other side of the counter.
And...
He sees nothing. Well, that is, nearly nothing. The customer has their head turned, so all he can see is a mop of reddish curls, plus the flash of a pinstriped blazer, before he has to turn back to coffee. As he turns the tap off, he pauses.
Did it really have orange pinstripes?
Or: Ford and Arthur fall in love but this time it's in a coffee shop.
