“Wait.” Dennis orders, eliciting a chuckle from Robby. He chooses to obey, sitting on the edge of his bed as Dennis runs back to the foyer. Robby can see that the nervous, yet excited energy from earlier has returned.
After some fumbling around inside his backpack, Dennis returns with something clenched in both his fists. His face is still dusted pink, flushing all the way down his neck, but a bashful smile eases the tension in the room.
“So…there was a sale online?” Dennis starts to explain, opening his hands. Robby’s eyes widened slightly.
