Summary
Abram and Mary were out of time. Their contact had been rotten, they were told he would be directing business at home, except he wasn't. Abram's father was on a business trip in Seattle. Abram and Mary were the business in question. Things never went as planned for them. For better or for worse. That was how they got here in the first place after all.
OR: If Nathan was less of a horrid father. The years spent of the run were the messiest fight over custody in all History. Stuart is done with their bullshit. Nathaniel "Identity/Family Issues" Wesninski still ends up with the Foxes. Everything goes to shit as usual.
AND: Columbia takes a wrong turn, Nathaniel's Unhinged Great Escape doesn't help, neither does The Butcher reclaiming answers about the mess. Andrew spirals from there, Nathaniel strikes a deal with him, and he is determined to have Andrew (+ others) see through the end of their healing journey, even if he has to drag them kicking and screaming all the way up. It only goes downhill from there.
First + Second years at PSU.

Summary
Neil is no angel. He was raised a warrior, he was raised a runner, he was raised with knives in his hands. He was originally raised a Wesninski.
The Foxes [and sometimes Andrew] tend to forget this. Until one day they are reminded in a very gruesome way.
[One of Nathan’s goons turns up to try attacking the Foxes. Neil succumbs to older instincts – killing to survive. His expert hands and emotionless gaze as the man dies causes a tension Neil never expected to receive from his Foxes, sending Neil in a spiral of confusion whether to stay as Neil or Nathaniel.]

Summary
Neil knows he’s being a brat. He knows he's rude, difficult, and "not progressing." But after losing his foot to his own father, who is, btw, a serial killer, he thinks he’s earned the right to be a nightmare. He didn't ask for a one-way ticket to California,to live with a family of strangers, and he certainly didn’t ask for Betsy Dobson or her handsome, mysterious son.
Struggling with a prosthetic he hates and a mind that won’t stop sprinting back to the Butcher, Neil is determined to stay a ghost. That is, until he finds a baby dolphin tangled in netting on a rocky cliffside, fighting for its life. Neil hasn’t run or swum that fast in a long, long time, but for the first time in months, he isn't thinking about his missing foot: he’s just thinking about the rescue.
The incident lands him at David Wymack’s Marine Biology Center, working alongside the animals everyone else has given up on. It also puts him directly in the path of Andrew Minyard, the man who handles the center's most dangerous predators. Andrew doesn't offer pity or "progress" reports; he just offers a deal. And in the salt air of the West Coast, Neil might finally find a reason to stop running.
