Summary
Dean and Sam had seen plenty. Open fractures, chest cavities torn open, heaps of shed skin, the worst things done to both human and non-human bodies, and yet neither of them was prepared.
A pair of jet-black wings lay on the floor, not strewn, placed particularly. They were large, easily six feet long and no doubt just as wide if outstretched. They sat in shallow pools of thick blood slowly filling beneath them, steadily dripping from the raw flesh that was at the root. The feathers were broken, frayed, and crumpled; bent at flinching science-fiction angles as if there was a great struggle in the removal. An odor eerily similar to iron and salt permeated the room, saturated it with horror.
Dean grabbed his jacket off the stairs and flung the one beside it to Sam. He caught it robotically, his gaze still set to the wings. “Get in the car, Sam.”

Sam is angry and Dean is tired. Sam is angry at John and his close-minded vendetta and the constant hiding from John is wearing on Dean. They're trying to hold everything in, trying to be patient and wait for the 'someday' that's always just around the corner. The bright sunny someday that is Sam and Dean out on their own hunting on weekends when Sam doesn't have too much homework and Dean isn't too tired from whatever his job may be. But that someday would shatter into a million untouchable pieces if John was ever to find out about what they have.
I offered to write this for the prompt that Andromaca gave me: "Dean taking (consensual) pictures of Sam and John finding out."
I started writing this with a word goal of 5,000 and as you can see I just kept writing.This is only part one.

Summary

Sam is dependent on Dean's touch and closeness after the wall falls - Dean's presence reminds him of why he chose to wake up, and keeps the memories at bay, allowing Sam to function.
The brothers have to face up to what happens when their Winchester codependency becomes literal, and the physical, spatial and temporal boundaries of their bond blur the line between familiar and suffocating, comforting and limiting. -

Favorite Wincest...ever. I highly doubt anyone can or will top it, but that might just be me. This masterpiece is also the fic that inspired me to start writing fanfiction.
