Summary
After the Qliphoth disaster Dante finds himself once more in hell, this time however with a certain someone as company. Having to redo that ordeal with Vergil around should mean it will be an easy trip, right? After all, there's nothing that could possibly challenge both Sons of Sparda at the same time!
Only, things are more complicated than they seem. Between his own hangups, a brother he sometimes barely knows and the underworld's sinister workings, Dante should maybe start wondering if he'll make it back home at all.

Summary
Vergil and Dante are back from Hell but one of them isn't adjusting to humanity and family life well. When Vergil finds a small group of musicians and joins them for their practice, he finds a connection to his childhood and tries to really give his more sensitive half a chance.
You know that trope of a kid having a recital and thinking their parent isn't there to support them? This is based on that but in reverse!

This fic honestly deserves more love. It's a wonderful depiction of a dysfunctional but loving family dynamic, and that feeling of having to hide something about yourself because you don't think your loved ones will understand is relatable-- I imagine-- to many.
Bookmarked so that I can read it again at some point.
