Summary
Jagoda has returned to the capital of Temeria, intent on finding out more about her place in the world, and in the politics of the Wolflands. She hopes to be able to slowly acclimate herself to not just existing in Witcher lands while being known to be a werewolf, but purposefully living alongside them and others who know her. All without finding the end of the grace she has been granted.

“It's not her, though, is it? Why would it be her?”
“Yeah, why would a knight be staying here?”
“She's got the same name.”
“Lots of people have that name, it's not too uncommon. You have a cousin named Jagoda.”
“But she's also got the broach! I saw it on her cloak, when she arrived the other day. It's got a howling wolf on it.”
“Everyone wears wolves now.”
“Right? Ever since we got added to the Warlord’s lands, people have been slapping wolves onto everything they can. There's a wolf on the sign to this inn.”Series

Summary
As the door opened Tim quickly disabled another three separate electronic sensors in the doorjamb by swiping them with a device that looked a bit like a thumb drive. “Walk where I walk,” he said.
He took a big step over the doormat, eyed the floor carefully, then took a careful skipped sidestep to another mat against the right-hand wall, where he removed his shoes.
“What the hell?” whispered Jason, still standing in the open doorway.
Tim pointed up. There was a net rigged up on the ceiling. “Pressure pads under the carpet.”
“I repeat, what the hell?”
After Tim completely derails Jason’s beatdown attempt by asking him for a hug, Jason’s first priority is to get this touch-starved kid more cuddles. Tim’s first priority is to avoid Dick’s traps.
Jason learns a lot about his brothers and what happened while he was away, and something about himself too.

"It was a game," Tim smiled bemused to himself, "I think subconsciously I knew it wasn't a game… but you know when you're a kid and you still want to see the best in everyone. Cause of course all parents love their children just like the sky is blue and grass is green. That's what the movies and the books and the teachers and kids at school always said. So I wanted to play a game."
"I never really played hide and seek, but I heard some other kids talking about it- and well you know it sounded fun and like something you would do with family and it wasn't physically extenuating like tag or something so one day I decided to start playing." He stands up from stretching to start absentmindedly pacing.
