Chuuya is stuck in a time loop from the day he wakes up on his 22nd birthday until his 'family' kills him on his 25th for being born to a demonic woman from the father's affair, he must find a 'happy' ending or stay in this cyclical hell.
"Take your sword…carve my demonic heart out…and use the power…to keep those you hold dear safe." Dazai leans forward, placing his forehead against Chuuya's as his arms hold Chuuya closer; being surrounded by the slightest warmth as he's dying, the kindest death he's been given.
"Why do you…wish to…save me?" Chuuya asks and Dazai smiles and leans even closer, like a small mischievous secret between kids.
"Because you have saved me once."

Summary
Lelouch's hopes and dreams are unexpectedly thwarted by his best friend turned enemy's interests, and is humiliated, erased, and rebuilt from falsehoods.
Suzaku is successful in capturing Lelouch at Kamine Island and delivering him to Charles zi Britannia to further his plan of changing Britannia from the inside. What Suzaku doesn't take into account, however, is all his mixed feelings upon finding out Zero is his best friend and watching said best friend being turned into a bastardized version of himself and his beliefs. Suzaku, no matter how much he hates what his best friend chose to become, is forced to be by Lelouch's side as he fights with only the strength that Lelouch could muster through Charles' engraved false persona.
