Summary
Damian was close to presenting. Jason could tell because the little shit had been trying to chew his way through his leather glove to get at his scent gland for the past five minutes. It was making the stake out he was supposed to be on a little difficult.
…
Robin, on the cusp of his first rut, seeks out Red Hood out of all of the Bats. Jason feels entirely unqualified for this.
Things escalate from there.

Summary
The fallout of a botched spell mixed with the Infinity Stones, leaves Tony, Stephen and Peter in Gotham. Their bodies are younger than when they left. Stephen's doctor skills, followed by Tony's mechanical engineering abilities get them noticed anyways.

Summary
Tim is five years old when he drowns in his parents' pool. He dies quietly, waiting for parents who love him, but will never be there, to realise that something is wrong. They never show up, and he sinks into oblivion.
When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.
(If you die and no-one is there to see it, were you ever alive in the first place?)

Bookmarker's Notes
i love this so fucking much. what a metaphor! i love characters dying over and over, it’s one of my favorite tropes because of how fucked up and raw and painful it is, but this is maybe the most salient, poignant version ive seen, it’s delicious angst. it’s tim’s damage distilled into a truly devastating one-two gutpunch. he’s the parentified people pleaser child who can’t stand to ask for what he needs, and he doesn’t know how to be cared for. he was so fucking neglected no one noticed he died, and then him coming back prevented anyone from finding out. if a kid drowns in a forest and no one’s around to hear it, did he ever really die in the first place? devastating. i fucking love it
