Jeonghan imagines every single cliché romcom scenario happening to him; it’s a movie he’s played in his head his whole life, his favorite mental montage.
But wait a sec. All he wants has actually been here from the start… Oh shit, has he been in love this whole time?
(or: five times Seungcheol was the perfect example of the love Jeonghan has been looking for, and the one time Jeonghan finally Sees what’s been in front of his nose the entire time.) -

Summary
As Batman signed for him to add his backup smoke pellets to his belt after forgetting to in a recent patrol, Dick was suddenly hit with the memory of the man scolding him for it. He remembered how Bruce had walked towards him, brushing the dirt off of Dick's face and pinched his cheeks. He recalled sticking his own tongue out at the man and the low — but free, so free — chuckle Bruce let out in response. And Dick reminisced on how warm he felt in its wake.
Large age gaps between friends existed.

Summary
That’s how it always had been between them, ever since the first day Kojiro laid eyes on that strange beautiful boy on the first day of his first year of high school. The boy who never studied but was top of the class in nearly every subject. The boy who got scolded for his long hair and pierced ears so regularly you could synchronize watches, who looked so dutiful and composed every time he got an earful, and still never got rid of either. The boy who’d dawn his big black headphones after every period and blast something bassy and heavy, and vaguely English-sounding instead of talking to anyone. The boy who would start bringing a skateboard everywhere with him and glide out of the school gates after class like he was flying...
The first time he kissed Kaoru (or, more accurately, Kaoru had kissed him) they were sixteen.
