    Vincent looked curious as to why Alastor was not behaving as his usual calm and collected self. Alastor took a breath—and just went for it.

    “Vincent dear…may I check something really quickly?~” his voice was soft, he was hoping for approval.

    “Sure!” Vincent slowly sat down on the sofa, paying complete attention to Alastor.

    This was everything Alastor needed to hear. He looked at the unaware Vincent and bent down."

The entirely reasonable question that could make or break their relationship. Shit.

    Alastor hummed and swirled his glass of rye whiskey, looking over the specials for this week. It wasn't like Vox to be late, with how meticulously he maintained his schedule. He wasn't worried, no, Vox could handle himself out there. Alastor was begrudgingly impressed with how quickly his idiot box had developed as a force to be reckoned with. His power level was almost nearing Alastor's own, though he didn't think Vox would ever quite match, much less exceed, it. Still, his ears flicked in amusement as he took a sip from his crystal glass. He was feeling just a bit agitated this week, moreso than usual, and was looking forward to burning off some extra energy tonight dancing with his friend acquaintance. Alastor's smile closed off into a slight grimace for a moment as he considered the possibility of his cycle coming back around to his heat again.

    A Sparksduo getting together Omegaverse fic set in roughly the 1960s, before the fallout between Alastor and Vox (pre-canon AU, spoiler alert, that interaction doesn't happen in this storyline). Surprisingly soft but still spicy, these two ARE still little freaks <3 Mind the tags
