Summary
Doctor Delilah Oleander is a brilliant engineer tasked with breathing life into an untested, experimental mech design of her own making to aid in battle against kaiju ravaging the planet. She struggles for recognition of her skill, her design, amidst rumors of the project being cursed, skepticism, and personal spite from leadership, and the inescapable shackles of a fallible human body. Her resources are limited, and her crew is dismally small - she has only herself and two mechanics, one of whom seems determined to challenge her at every opportunity. Despite his misgivings, Dav Roth may be more motivated than Doctor Oleander herself as his best friend fights on the front lines of a losing war. He believes that Dr. Oleander's designs have great potential for success, and he need only convince her of minor changes to ensure that he can find a way to keep his friend safe before it's too late. If she can be convinced, of course, as the stubborn woman clings to a vision that cannot be reconciled with the restrictions they face. As the admiralty breathes down their necks, as the kaiju wreak havoc to the settlements on the planet and the casualty list grows longer, can they concede control long enough to achieve both their goals?

In Point Hope, missing people are commonplace. Nowhere is this more true than the old farm on the outskirts of town, over the last decade there have been over 60 disappearances on the grounds of the farm alone.
V, a member of a loosely organized group known as Scouts, visits the farm as often as possible to check for the latest missing persons. They stay on the outskirts of the farm—at least that’s what they’d usually do—until they hear someone screaming from the farmhouse.

Summary
Wren is a depressed and clueless trans-man who has had an unrequited crush on his best friend just a few months after they met. When he's sent a link to an old blog that talks about demon summoning and a magic transition, some small part of his brain decides that he has to try it.
Eve is a demon who has been pretending to be a human for just a few years now, while she knows a lot about humans and their relationships now, she still doesn't understand the romantic or sexual parts of human relationships. So when she started feeling a fluttering sensation, or the occasional growing heat when she would look at Wren, she didn't know what to make of it.
