Summary
“I’m looking at your old mug on the counter, Mum. It’s chipped on the handle. I can't bring myself to wash it...I needed to hear the phone ring. I miss you. God, I miss you so much.”
A choked, breathless sob cut off the recording, followed by the sharp, electronic beep of a disconnected line. The secret basement fell dead silent again. Draco froze. He knew he should drop the device into the disposal chute. He knew it was a grotesque, illegal invasion of her privacy. But his thumb was already moving over the rubber keys, desperate to hear her private thoughts once more.
**OR**
This was Draco’s sixth year of Ministry-mandated rehabilitation. Every day, he was forced to descend to Level Ten and spend eight hours manually sorting through Muggle junk. He uncovers an enchanted Muggle cell phone. Hermione Granger has spent years dialing a wiped, disconnected number, leaving a trail of desperate, suffocating voicemails for the mother who no longer remembers her. Trapped in his own silent isolation, Draco becomes utterly consumed by the recordings. He can’t just keep sitting in the dark and listening to her drown alone.
After seven years, it was time someone answered her.

Summary
Like her mother in the aftermath of the Conclave, and Hawke in the Gallows of Kirkwall, and even the legendary Hero of Ferelden, the King’s Warden, at the Battle of Ostagar: Solara was joining the ranks of heroic women before her, none of them ever having been asked if they wanted it.
They had all paid the price to save the world: a home, an arm, a life. Solara was selfish with what little she had left that she could call her own. And she wasn't ashamed to admit that she was afraid of what her turn would cost.
Nearly thirty years after Corypheus, after the Breach, after Fen'Harel took Nifera Lavellan's hand and heart, her daughters find themselves thrust into a world of blight, escaped gods, and a father's promise for a restored homeland--at the risk of losing everything they have ever grown to love.
Two Rooks and a King is the titular second installment in a trilogy following the events from Trespasser to post-Veilguard. You do not necessarily have to read Part 1, but it provides valuable backstory that may be missed if skipped.

Summary
As she looked around her living room - at the green velvet ottoman she didn't remember purchasing, the 14th century Wizarding texts on her bookshelf, the hideous and obnoxiously ostentatious grandfather clock that could only belong to a Malfoy - she pictured the toothbrush next to hers on her bathroom counter, the old Slytherin quidditch jersey she regularly tripped over in her bedroom, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream in her freezer - a flavour she abhorred, but that a particular, pale, pointy faced aristocrat sat across from her had a tragic fondness for.
Her chest burning, as if she drank a barrel of bubotuber pus, Hermione turned to him with narrowed, accusing eyes. "Malfoy...are we dating?"
If there's one thing Hermione Granger knows, it's that she simply doesn't have time to date. Draco decides to date her, anyway.
