Summary
“Tell me it’s not true.” Akaza’s eyes were alight, twin blue flames in danger of consuming everything they touched. “Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t not like me.”
“Akaza…” Kyojuro breathed, but in the end, the other man was right. Kyojuro hated lying, and he knew he couldn’t lie to Akaza, not when he was like this. A self-condemning silence was all he could manage.
“That’s what I thought,” Akaza said finally.
Kyojuro stood silently, waiting until Akaza had rounded a corner and left his sight before he tested his theory.
“I don’t not like you,” he whispered to himself, and just as he’d feared, the words came easily.
Rengoku is a skier, Akaza is a snowboarder. Can I make it any more obvious?
In which Rengoku and Akaza ride down a mountain together and discover they have more in common than they'd previously thought.
