Summary
It's been a few weeks since the Friendship Games. This world's Twilight Sparkle is struggling to adjust to her new school and her new friends. Sunset sees this, and resolves to help ease Twilight into their group in any way she can.
A late night encounter, a pep talk, and a little bit of whipped cream – all things that seem insignificant on their own – cause Sunset to reflect on how she feels about her new friend and herself. Is she really just trying to be a good friend to Twilight because it's the right thing to do, or do her motives run deeper than even she realizes?

Summary
In the wake of the Friendship Games, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer have managed to find each other, and springboard their friendship into a deep, and special, bond. Twilight would love nothing more than to explore all of the intricacies of this bond. Specifically, the ones that leave her flushed and panting from late-night fantasies.
But the perfect time to do so repeatedly eludes Twilight—and it only gets worse when her lab and research are suddenly threatened. However, as Sunset and Twilight support one another during the hardships ahead, amidst their deepest fears, they find a joy that brings them closer than they ever expected.

“What are we doing here that’s so important?”
Gohan looks at him sideways, a smile tugging at his lips. “Nothing.”
Piccolo frowns. “Then why did you need me to come?”
“I never said I did.” Gohan puts his forefinger to his chin, mock-thoughtful. “I’m pretty sure what I said was, ‘Since I’m training with you again, I want you to do something for me, too.’ You’re the one who assumed it was something important.” His eyes are sparkling with mirth. He must’ve learned this cheekiness from Videl, because Piccolo sure as hell didn’t teach it to him.
(Or: Gohan decides that if he's going to start training with Piccolo again, Piccolo is going to learn to relax with him.)

“Well, you didn't think that all it gives me are painful visions and hallucinations, did you?” Hallorann snorted, but he couldn't manage a smile. The claw was still hovering over his pulse.
For a moment, there was complete silence. The only sound was the rush of blood in his ears. As if having made up its mind, It blinked, smiling at him again.
“Didn't think,” It murmured after him, almost dreamily, then loosened its grip on his neck, pulling its claws back. The hand on his chest also stopped its relentless pressure, so Hallorann finally took a deep breath, involuntarily glancing at the clown on his hips. "And what else can you do, i wonder, mm? You know, Dickie, you're the first human with, as you call it, a shining, that I've gotten my hands on..."
It moved again, like excited cats can fidget in place when their owner waves a fluffy toy in front of their eyes. Hallorann clenched his teeth. He didn't like the warmth that movement sent through his body.
“Maybe I'll stay a little longer, just to play with you.”
