Summary
His skin burst into flames the second their bodies touched and Kaveh jumped away in shock. Tighnari reached out to steady him, hands on the taller man's hips. Already, something needy roiled in his stomach.
"Shit," Tighnari coughed. "This is not going to end well."
"What do the spores do?" Kaveh asked, fear makign his ears ring slightly.
The cloud settled and Kaveh turned around to look at Tighnari when he got his answer. Normally soft eyes were bloodshot, pupils so dark they nearly eclipsed all the color in Tighnari's irises. Kaveh wondered for a second if his eyes looked the same.
"The spores act as a mild aphrodisiac in small doses," Tighnari explained. "But in such a high concentration… I'm not sure how it will affect us. I suspect it will be more intense."
When Kaveh visits Tighnari, he accidentally knocks a new plant species off the desk. The flower, feeling threatened, lets out a cloud of spores with aphrodisiac effects.
