Jimin felt that he wasn’t alone in the room. The overwhelming scent of petrichor hit his nose. That wasn’t natural, a normal human couldn’t smell like weather, it was impossible to smell like anything other than soft hints of musk and food.
This thing was going to kill him.
He wished he had someone to protect him. From this monster. From the world.
He wished he had someone eternally on his side.
“Are you fucking kidding me? That is what you request?” A deep gravel sounded in the eerily still air.
Jimin screamed. Large hands were suddenly on him, covering his mouth and turning his body. He felt something clasp around his neck. The figure tongued over the cut on Jimin’s cheek and he whimpered.
“But your wish has been granted, little omega.”

“Thanks,” Yoongi breathes, running a hand through his shaggy platinum hair, getting it out of his eyes. Fuck, Jungkook hasn’t really gotten a chance to see him up close like this and he isn’t any less pretty than he used to be when they were kids. In fact, he really has gotten way hotter. “I was coming over to say hi and then I slipped and—”
“It’s okay.” Jungkook forces a weak smile. He cannot let his anxiety take over right now. He’s talking to Yoongi one-on-one for the first time in years and he will not screw this up. “Well… Hi.”
Yoongi lets out a tense breath. “Hi,” he replies, dropping his hands, backpack hanging off one shoulder. “Um, I actually wanted to ask you something?”
A tingle travels up Jungkook’s spine. “Yeah?”
